PREAMBLE:
We the Church of Jesus Christ, called Radnor Primitive Baptist Church, Nashville, Tennessee, feel that it is needful to come together in Conference to discharge our duty by transaction the business of the church as often as needed.
It is agreed therefore that the following behavior be observed by the church in its business.
- ARTICLE I
- Conference will be opened and closed by prayer.
- ARTICLE II
- The conference shall be composed of the members of this church, unless duly requested and agreed upon by the body.
- ARTICLE III
- A brother who is a member shall be elected to serve as Moderator to whom every speech shall be directed. It is his responsibility to maintain order. If the need arises, the Moderator may appoint a moderator pro tem. The Moderator's term will run concurrent with the clerk's term, from January to January.
- ARTICLE IV
- Believing the church to belong to the Lord, we therefore submit to the fact that the church is always open for the reception of members. A brother who comes to Radnor Church by letter from a sister church (having been previously ordained to the office of deacon) shall be recognized only at the discretion of the church, as to the needs of the church, and to his acceptability to the body.
- ARTICLE V
- Matthew 18:15-17 shall be used in dealing with any grievance that may arise of a personal nature, and that only after these scriptures have been followed and much labor bestowed shall the offense be brought before the church.
- ARTICLE VI
- Each motion and second shall come before the conference and acted upon unless withdrawn by the sponsor.
- ARTICLE VII
- Any issue brought before the congregation that is of a highly controversial nature may be tabled for at least one month to give all members time to consider said issue, and have time to pray for God's guidance in the matter before final action is taken by the church.
- ARTICLE VIII
- If anyone should be grieved at any time during conference due to an action taken, he or she has the privilege of making his or her feelings known at any time during a conference.
- ARTICLE IX
- All business of conference shall be recorded by the clerk, and the same shall be read and corrected if need be. The clerk will serve from January to January.
- ARTICLE X

- Section 1
- We feel it is the duty of every member to attend conference.
- Section 2
- Only one person may have the floor at a time, and shall rise and be recognized by the moderator.
- Section 3
- Any member desiring to speak more than three times on a given subject may do so by obtaining permission of the body.
- Section 4
- Amendments to these rules may be made at any time that conference shall deem it necessary.
- ARTICLE XI
- These rules of decorum shall be read once yearly, during the conference that the pastor, clerk, and moderator are appointed for the coming year, so that they might be amended as necessary.
